Damp problems at home can be frustrating. Whether it’s a musty smell, mould on the walls, or flaking paint — it usually means moisture is getting in somewhere it shouldn’t. That’s where we come in.

Professional Damp Surveys

We start every job with a proper diagnosis. Our qualified surveyors carry out detailed damp surveys across Cambridgeshire and East Anglia. They’ll inspect your home inside and out, identify the type of damp (rising, penetrating or condensation), and explain exactly what’s causing it. You’ll get a full written report with honest recommendations and a clear cost breakdown.

Types of Damp

Damp Problem?

We treat the cause, not just the symptoms. Solutions include remedial DPCs, internal and external membranes, mechanical ventilation units for condensation, and tanking systems for basements and cellars. If damp has already caused timber damage, we also carry out specialist wet and dry rot treatments to preserve structural integrity.

Rising Damp

Rising damp is a condition that occurs when moisture rises up through walls and floors, resulting in potential structural damage and health risks.

Penetrating Damp

Penetrating damp is a type of moisture intrusion that occurs when water passes through cracks and other openings in buildings leading to damage and the potential for mould growth.

Condensation Damp

Condensation damp occurs when humidity levels in the home are too high, leading to water droplets condensing on cold surfaces such as windows and walls.

What we can do for you

Remedial Damp Proof Course (DPC)

A DPC stops rising damp at its source. We inject a water-repellent barrier into the lower walls to stop moisture from travelling up through the brickwork.

Internal/external membranes

These are physical barriers fitted to stop damp from penetrating walls and floors. They’re ideal for both rising and penetrating damp and can be used alongside other treatments.

Mechanical ventilation for condensation

Condensation is common in homes with poor airflow. We install discreet mechanical units that keep humidity under control and reduce mould growth without leaving windows open all day.

Timber preservation for Wet/Dry Rot

Damp conditions often lead to timber decay. Our treatments stop fungal growth in its tracks and protect structural timbers from further damage.

Tanking for Basements and Cellars

Below-ground rooms are at high risk of water ingress. We install tanking systems to seal walls and floors, keeping basements dry and usable year-round.
